On behalf of all the parishioners of St. Dominic Church, I welcome you to our website. 

I am very excited about and pleased with our parish website. It is a fine way to communicate with our own parishioners and a welcoming to visitors and people, new to our area, who are looking for the ‘Catholic Church’. It is often an interesting awakening to newcomers that there is only one catholic church in each of our little towns or cities in Upper East Tennessee. In fact, my little hometown in Pennsylvania (about the size of Rogersville) has two catholic churches, one of which is the size of St. Dominic. 

Please browse through the site and notice the various ministries that are being performed within and by our community members. Check out our weekly bulletin and financial sheet for recent information. Notice our school and the ministry and service it so lovingly provides. Just feel welcome! 

Many of us are transplanted from somewhere else and so we have experienced the separation or anxiety or joy of relocating. For this reason, we try very hard to be welcoming to newcomers. I hope that, if you are such, we have made you feel at home or at ease or will do so in the future. 

If you are presently a parishioner, thank you for your generosity and participation. I have been here for seven years now and deeply love this parish. It has been a very joyful and challenging experience and one that I hope will remain such for many more years.
